I love making low-poly 3D Models. They combine my favorite aesthetic, with my love for spriting!
Walten Files, rocket in the chair
based on the Martin Walls render
the chair has more polygons than rocket does, because I was lazy lol
Walten Files, good bon render hell yes
i didn't know how to work the blender camera very well, so I was annoyed that the fingers kept getting in the way of his eye
Walten Files, sha render
based on the Martin Walls render
the first one i made <3
Walten Files, Banny render
based on the Martin Walls render
the damaged part of her peaking through was very annoying to do
Walten Files, Boozoo render
based on the Martin Walls render
I remember getting annoyed at his hair...
Walten Files, fixed-up Bon
you'd think this would be easier to do than the broken variant, and it's actually just as hard lol
Walten Files, full showbear
his design is very...loose, so I had fun also getting loose in the texture.
Walten Files, Showbear and the Well
The Well is also super JPEG-artifact ridden in the video, so I took great pains to replicate that.
Walten Files, Sha diorama
When I started my Walten Files series, I just wanted to make a little recreation of the Sha section of Tape 3. I had a lot of fun spriting everything on the texture sheet. I think I made this gif before I got the perspective right on the tiles. They appear flat, as if you were looking top-down, but they're not. You looking at the room at an angle.
Walten Files, Sha diorama
I tried to recreate the corruptions in the video, but in a 3D space.
Walten Files, Sha diorama
I made a few different elements for the room. Different posters, different faces for Sha, the different wallpaper...
Walten Files, Billy
based on the Martin Walls render
this was the one where i figured out I could use the texture paint feature of blender to help me...
Walten Files, broken Rocket
i also made the background
Walten Files, Bon render
based on the Martin Walls render
I liked mapping out the big rips in his suit.
Walten Files
this is what i meant by it taking me a bunch of renders to get the hand away from his eyes, but dang it looks cool
Walten Files, billy dab
oh DAMN just got dabbed on!!
Walten Files, banny shrug
i made this for a twitter post, but it also shows off the alternate eyes I had made for her
Sonic R, Tiara Boobowski
I looove cut content, and I was a SUCKER for Sonic X-Treme news a a kid... I was enamored with the concept art of her, and always wished she would've been included in the other games, instead of Amy. so, I made her a model for the "first" 3D Sonic game. I think I picked Sonic R to use to make models because it was "easier" with how low-poly everything is, given it's a Sega Saturn game.
Sonic R, Tiara Boobowski
I think this was her final design? I know there's a lot of cute concept art with her in the skirt.
Tennocon, 2024
My entry for the Tennocon art showcase contest. I felt it would be only right to make a game poster inspired by games from 1999, for Warframe 1999. Specifically, a game DE had a hand in...
I had also saved it as a low-quality bitmap file, so this is the full resolution...
Tennocon, 2024
Alt shot, because I was SO happy with how Albrecht turned out. He's so menacing, and his phone pops so well. I had this printed, and got lots of cool people to sign it at the convention, too!
Tennocon, 2024
Aoi, isolated
I think the shuriken was actually floating infront of her...
Tennocon, 2024
Arthur, isolated
there are so many details that you can't see, that I made, and i'm a little mad I made them???
Tennocon, 2024
Albrecht, isolated
you can't see him very well in the final, but I modelled everything. Boots, shirt, everything.
...
why did i model everything if I knew you wouldn't see it...
Tennocon, 2024
Arthur and Aoi test
Whenever I test the bones in my models, I use Sonic Adventure poses. For these two, I used the Sonic Adventure 2 cover, and even made a custom background based on it.
